The Compassionate Listening Project
Summer Gathering Registration
August 1-3, 2008


Welcome! This is an opportunity to come together, drink deeply from the well of spirit and community, and deepen our practice and understanding of Compassionate Listening. Newcomers to Compassionate Listening are especially welcome - we will offer an experiential session for those wanting an introduction to our work and all are welcome to participate fully in our sessions.

Spaces for the Summer Gathering are limited, so we do recommend early registration. We hope you can join us!


We encourage you to arrive for the Gathering between 11:00 - 11:30 on August 1st for check in and orientation (lunch is at 12:00). We will end at 3:00 on Sunday August 3rd. You may also register by the day for 1, 2 or all 3 days (see "day rate" below) for those who wish to participate and sleep off-site. Vegetarian and organic food is plentiful.

Accommodations/Cost for the Gathering, including 2 overnights and 7 meals (Friday lunch through Sunday lunch):

  • Tent and trailer camping: $200 per person
  • lodge rooms: $250 per person for double occupancy in the beautiful lodge rooms with private baths. (triple or quadruple occupancy rates available to families or those in the same party - please ask)
  • day rate only, including lunch and dinner (no overnight) - $70 per person

    • We will do our best to accommodate your request, and will let you know your options before we confirm your registration if we cannot fulfill your first choice. We will also match you up with a roommate of the same gender if you are coming alone. It's possible, but we cannot guarantee single rooms at this time.

    Deposit / Payment information
    Please include your $150 deposit per person with your registration, or you are welcome to pay the full amount. Payment in full will be due June 15th so if you are registering after June 15th, please pay in full.

    Cancellations: Payments will be refundable, less a $25 cancellation fee, until June 15th. We're sorry but we cannot provide refunds after that time.
